We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Manager with a “can-do” attitude to assist our organization in hosting events and taking care of the organization’s image at the exhibitions that improve client loyalty and enhance our brand-to-client experience.

The Event Manager will oversee the management and execution of all aspects of events including researching and securing venues, communications, planning, budgeting, vendor management, execution, analysis, and reporting. It is expected that the ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time management.

What you’ll do:

  • Compositing and approving events both external (industry events and exhibition) and owned by GMS by organizing the participation in terms of the selected format (organizing passes, booths, catering, meeting rooms, designing and producing branded materials, legal and financial issues coordinating, etc); supporting the participants in the preparatory process and during the event; reporting on the results of the event.
  • Developing ideas for own GMS events by location and contractors searching, full range of organizational issues, concept development.
  • Participating in events and ensuring the highest level of hospitality for participants both Company’s Representants and Clients.
  • Preparing and supervising annual events and activities budget.
  • Creating photo and video reports together with contractors.
  • Developing marketing materials, booth design and branded materials/presents/souvenirs/ concept for various needs (together with a designer).
  • Updating Company’s website about events and business activities.
  • Analyzing activities (events) in a competitive environment on an ongoing basis and preparing monthly review.
  • Supporting events logistics by planning logistics for participants together with travel team, delivering materials needed for the event with the support of delivery companies.

 

What we expect:

  • 5+ years international event project management experience.
  • Experience in end-to-end event logistics and cooperation with Senior Leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level projects across various geographies and cultures.
  • Proven skills to research and report on event options, venues, and lodging based on program format and budget.
  • Passion to work with people and support their needs by highest level of hosting during events.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to international business travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Advanced English.
  • MS Office Proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Photoshop – would be an advantage.
