What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to understand and analyze business requirements.
- Develop high-level solution designs, including system architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms that align with organizational strategy and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, principles, and guidelines, including ITIL, COBIT, ISO:27001, and other relevant frameworks.
- Stay current with modern frameworks and approaches, such as DevOps, Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, Serverless Architecture, and Containerization.
- Participate in the development of technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
- Work closely with development teams (internal & external through partners) to ensure the successful implementation of designed solutions.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, the Operational Technology (Network) teams, security & privacy, and Project management to ensure a holistic perspective.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of documentation, including solution architectures, design specifications, and test plans.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendors, products, and services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What we expect:
- 3+ years of experience in a solution architecture role, with a focus on designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
- University degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent education/experience.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional language capabilities are a plus.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as TOGAF 9, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert will be a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of business processes in the IT and Telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework, and SABSA.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
- Knowledge of data modelling, database design, and data integration techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Awareness of modern frameworks and approaches, such as DevOps, Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, Serverless Architecture, and Containerization.
- Excellent soft skills, including communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability.
- Proven track record of delivering successful IT projects, from inception to deployment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
