What you’ll do:
- Develop Regional sales strategies including market analysis and pricing policies. Analyze current and future regional market trends to determine opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with all the key players and build sales pipeline with new Client’s acquisition, generate sales results as an individual contributor.
- Present GMS services and products to a range of potential business partners and enterprises.
- Conduct market research with a focus on identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Closely collaborate with Client’s businesses, knowing exactly which of our products can help them evolve their business.
- Collect feedback about products and services and convey it to ideas for improvement.
- Manage sales process with an analysis of competitors and business intelligence activities.
- Manage monthly regional revenue generation. Report about the performance of regional sales KPIs.
What we expect:
- Degree in Telecommunications, Economics or Management.
- 8+ years of proven experience as B2B Sales Manager / Regional Sales Director in telecommunications, specifically messaging & roaming.
- Existing strong network of clients (MNOs, Messaging Hubs, Global and Local Enterprises).
- Successful experience in setting up B2B sales channel from scratch in a new region.
- Advanced level of English, & excellent communication skills: providing verbal and written communication that is outstanding to Clients, Partners, GMS Senior management as well as other stakeholders. Swahili and French will be an advantage.
- PC advanced user.
- Excellent negotiation skills and business acumen.
- Skills in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating sales activities. Ability to develop and implement sales strategy, business processes and reporting.
