Sales Engineer

We are searching for an experienced and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a smart, hardworking, and overachieving sales engineer with a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sales managers with technical issues, solution selling, planning, executing strategic deals in complex sales cycles, and modeling the financial business case for each sales opportunity.

As a Sales Engineer, you will work with the Sales Team to support sales of new prospects and farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Success in this role is measured by new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and contribution to the overall Sales Team and business success.

What you’ll do:

  • Support and own technical requirements for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base.
  • Partner with sales managers to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity.
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
  • Manage technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
  • Work as a part / with the Product Team in the development of new features and enhancements.
  • Effectively communicate clients’ needs to the product and R&D teams for future product enhancements.
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence.


What we expect:

  • University degree, preferably with a numeracy base.
  • Proven work experience as a Pre-Sales Manager / Sales Engineer working globally.
  • Experience in working with both mid-market and large enterprises.
  • Proven track record of selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Solid product / technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced level of English (both verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel.
