OTT

OTT stands for “over the top,” referring to a service delivered by a 3rd party. In telecommunications this typically refers to chat or messaging apps commonly used to text message friends in ways that ordinary SMS cannot – e.g. by sending images, videos, etc. These apps are also becoming a popular choice with enterprises for B2C communications.
