Session

“Session” in telecommunications refers to a set of related interactions grouped according to a specified length of time or number of messages exchanged. This is increasingly associated with RCS, which supports chatbots and therefore makes routine, automated 2-way messaging a reality. Interactions with chatbots consist of sessions which begin when the first message is sent and end after a set amount of time or after a certain number of messages have been sent between the subscriber and the chatbot platform.
