SIM (Subscriber Identity Module)

A SIM is an integrated circuit which stores an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) number and other data related to a subscriber. Typically stored on a SIM card (technically a universal integrated circuit card (UICC)), SIM information can also be stored on the hardware of mobile devices equipped with an eSIM.
