GMS is proud to announce that our Hubs Business Development Manager, Travia Stewart, has been recognised as one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in the ROCCO 100, a prestigious annual list of people whose ideas and actions have made a significant contribution to the roaming, messaging, and interconnect industry.

An experienced telecommunications professional, Travia joined GMS in May 2021 and is responsible for nurturing relationships with hubs and aggregators, and driving business growth.

Travia Steward, Global Enterprise Business Development Manager at GMS said:

“It’s great to be recognised by my peers in the industry and ROCCO is doing a fantastic job with this initiative. There are so many people who are doing great work behind the scenes to create and advance standards and processes which make it a lot easier for mobile operators and vendors to simply get on with the business of offering their services to customers. Thanks so much to everyone who voted for me.”

Sarah Keller, Chief Global Enterprise Officer at GMS said:

“I am delighted to see Travia featured among the Top 25 in the ROCCO 100. When Travia joined our team I saw she is both well respected and regarded in the industry. She quickly earned that same respect in GMS. Her hard work and diligence have benefitted GMS immensely and I am sure will continue to do so. Well-deserved Travia!”

ROCCO 100 was conceptualised as a research project in 2019 to recognise the most influential people in the telecom industry. Nominations opened in October 2021 and this was followed by a 100- day voting period. The results were further analysed by a panel of judges. Find out more here.

“Travia has one of the best records in telecoms. She was able to implement over 100 roaming partners in less than 90 days. At that time this was unheard of in telecoms. She has a vast knowledge of her area that she has been able to train/mentor many people in this field across the world, from the Caribbean to South Pacific to Latin America to Europe, Oceania and beyond.”
